Wednesday, July 04, 2012 Four elements of a sauna
All saunas, whether it is a Japanese or Finnish sauna, Russian or Turkish banya, are recognized by the unique atmosphere of all of the saunas and banyas.

Philosophy of sauna is in harmony with the four components of human nature ― fire, air, water and earth. The latter represents wood and stone.

The fifth component of nature is a man. So, getting into such a sauna, he finds himself in a natural environment for him ― an urban environment, urban, always striving ― where he is forced to spend most of his life. Here, nothing should distract or obstruct the process of relaxation.

Having completely relaxed in a sauna and breathing in scent of essential oils, mixed with the smell of lime-trimmed walls and alder floors, one can imagine themselves surrounded by the four elements of nature included in a sauna.

Light in a sauna is very important as well. In it the wooden parts impregnated with a protective layer are dancing, getting a unique look. Lighting also continues sauna finishing, still imaging the four elements of a sauna.

And yet, because it is a sauna, the main thing here is human safety. There are no sharp corners, edges of all surfaces are smoothed and polished. A stove sauna is fenced by graceful wooden railings; light spots are collected in frames. Absolute freedom, nothing constrains the movement and distracts. The fifth component of nature is a person in the four sauna elements, and he is resting fully, gaining energy and strength, which a sauna gives him.

All of these nuances, as well as many other useful information, you may learn at Banya & Sauna. Construction and Equipment exhibition taking place from 21st to 23rd September in Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre, Moscow.

Banya is the best place for good rest!
