Friday, July 06, 2012 The world record in the Finnish sauna
Once again, sauna has become the subject of World Records. The Finns have set a world record in the Finnish sauna.

Yes, they did it! It was a really big day unforgettable for students of the Helsinki Technical University of Applied Sciences which trains representatives of more than one hundred nationalities.

They decided to get together in sauna and steam at the same time and record a new record.

The Finnish sauna has taken its place in the Guinness Book of Records. People from all over the world steamed in the Finnish sauna.

Students of Afghanistan, Chile, Iran, Vietnam, Ghana, Jamaica, Madagascar, Lithuania, Estonia, Venezuela, Honduras, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the United States, England, Finland, Spain and other countries gathered in sauna in Helsinki.

In this regard, the commission which checked passports before entering the sauna met, and a new world record was set in Finland ― representatives of 76 nations steamed together at the same time. The most cosmopolitan steaming session in history was organized by the Finns in the Finnish sauna, so for a reason they say… "Banya brings people together!"

The previous record was set in Japan when representatives of 56 nations steamed in a sauna. And now it is our turn and we hope that Russian banya will gather people from all over the world.
