The regional authorities get rid of costs of bathhouses support and profit by areas sales. Bathhouse is not only a place for relaxation and communication for the most Russian people – first of all – they have no other place to wash themselves. Public bathes disappear all over the world because of its unnecessary and together with poorness. But these processes interchanged places in Russia. Bathhouses statistics are not very revealing in this case. There were at about one hundred establishments in 1970 in Moscow, but today their number is doubled. But earlier bath complex was considered to have capacity to hold from 100 to 400 people and now it is a sauna, of 2x3 meters with a table for 15 persons, mini-pool and a recreation room with a bed. Cost visiting of Soviet bathhouse was 10-15 cents and now sauna rent for one hour is about 2-3 thousand rubles. Over a dozen of classic bathhouses are still function in capital like Sandunov. One session in Koptevsky or Izmailovsky baths will cost 500-800 rubles.
