Ceramics workshop "Handmade tile" has existed since 1998. It all started in St. Andrew’s monastery with restoration of the 17th century’s tiles. The workshop was founded by the ceramic artist Sergey Lebedev, who always considered the revival and development of tiled art his major task.
Handmade tile is a ceramic specially shaped tile long used for lining and decoration of various objects. Manufacture of tiles means exclusively handmade highly complex work resulting amazingly beautiful and totally unique creation. Masters of tiled art can create artistic masterpieces only with their talent and tools. Tiles have a lot of positive characteristics and properties that make them again occupy the right place in the industry. The main advantages include originality, individuality, excellent appearance, durability and high quality.
