Banya & Sauna Festival and Exhibition – a truly unique event – is to take place on September 21-23 on Fountain Square in Sokolniki Park. The festival to gather together all the bath lovers; and the exhibition itself will allow everyone to learn everything about construction and equipment of bathhouses. The event business program includes daily stove-setters’ shows that are to feature speed bath stoves construction, and afterwards pies and pancakes for all the guests will be baked in the stoves. Moreover, the festival will have a workshop on bath besom binding, lots of contests and other entertainment. The Food Show will treat the visitors to some hot fragrant tea poured from a giant samovar, pilaf cooked in a giant cauldron and many other delicacies!
And, of course, the most important feature of the event is free access to mobile bathhouses, cedar barrels, giant water pools, relax-hammocks, bath massage workshops, Sweating to the Music Show. Moreover, a special project Behind the Glass to show the visitors everything that happens inside the bathhouse.
